GIE+EXPO Brings Something New to Tradeshow’s Education
GIE+EXPO
is known for its educational sessions which provide attendees with best practices and strategies to increase their bottom line. And this year, GIE+EXPO is adding more value by giving contractors the chance to participate in a Hardscape educational session.
“This is a unique learning opportunity for lawn & landscape professionals,” said Warren Sellers, show director. “This introductory session will give lawn & landscape professionals the chance to explore how they can add hardscaping to their service offerings and increase profits.”
A full program of education and certification for lawn & landscape professionals and hardscape installers will be sponsored by the Professional Landcare Network (PLANET) and Interlocking Concrete Pavement Institute (ICPI). But you can explore how hardscaping services can add to your profits by attending, “Adding Hardscape Installation to Your Company’s Success,” Thursday or Friday. The session – led by Pat McCrindle, one of the top trainers in the U.S. – will teach you about equipment, training and capital investment required, the best structure for your work crews and how to promote your new services. As a bonus for signing up for either session, you will receive free access to a series of eight live demos on Thursday and Friday afternoon. Demo topics will cover compaction for paver installation, outdoor living enhancements, basic paver installation, water features, stone veneer applications, permeable pavement construction, raised patio contraction and segmental pavement maintenance.
Green Industry Conference asks, “Are you committed to being successful?”
PLANET’s 2010 Green Industry Conference (GIC) will be enhanced this year by a wide range of topics covering interlocking concrete pavement, clay brick pavement, segmental retaining walls and articulating concrete block systems.
