Ariens 1336 DLE Sno-Thro

Ariens Co.

The Ariens 1336 DLE Sno-Thro comes standard with a 13-horsepower Tecumseh OHV Snow King engine and a 12-volt key start. It also has a 36-inch clearing width, six forward and two reverse speeds, and a remote deflector control. Additional features include an improved cast-iron gear case, a new halogen headlight, a new quick-turn chute rotation and a new remote locking differential.

ARIENS CO. / 800-472-8359

Blizzard Model 760SW

Blizzard Corp.

The Model 760SW is designed for all 1/2-ton, 4-wheel-drive trucks. The plow has wings similar to those found on the Blizzard Power Plow, only the wings are hinged on either end of the main moldboard and do not extend or retract. When the main blade is in the straight position, both wings are held forward in the scoop position by large, robust springs. When angled left or right, the leading wing is retained in the forward position and the trailing wing is automatically pulled back in line with the main blade, using a cable and pivot lever system that's integrated into the A-frame. This allows the Speed Wing Plow to carry and windrow more snow per pass.

BLIZZARD CORP. / 906-482-5555

Fisher Xblade Snowplows

Fisher Plows

Fisher's 8- and 9-foot Xblade snowplows combine an exclusive X-Bracing design with premium corrosion-resistant, stainless steel for tough commercial/municipal use. A 12-gauge polished 304 stainless steel moldboard and a powder-coated steel structure form a truly rust-free plow blade. The Xtreme blade curl and 10-inch moldboard "overhand" promote optimum snow rolling and "foiling" action. An Xtreme 75-degree attack angle delivers better ice breaking and scraping. The X-Bracing on the back of the blade provides excellent torsional strength and rigidity to eliminate moldboard stress. The moldboard is also now available in powder-coated 12-gauge steel.

FISHER PLOWS / 207-701-4200

Husqvarna 1130SBE-XP Snowthrower

Husqvarna

The Husqvarna 1130SBE-XP snowthrower features a Tecumseh Snow King OHV 11-horsepower engine for long life in extreme conditions. Two-stage design handles deep snow and large clearing areas. A single-point chute deflector allows for easy operation. Ergonomically designed trigger steering provides easy-to-control turning. Push-button electric start allows for easy starting every time. Ball-bearing auger supports increase durability and extend life of the unit. The 1130SBE-XP features a 30-inch clearing width.

HUSQVARNA / 800-438-7297

TrynEx SnowEx Vee Pro 8000 Bulk Spreader

Trynex International

SnowEx, a division of TrynEx International, modified its Vee Pro 8000 bulk spreader to include a new Quick-Pin hitch design. Securing the unit's spreader assembly to the hopper, the Quick-Pin hitch makes it faster and easier to remove the assembly, freeing up the carrying vehicle's trailer hitch for towing. Instead of requiring the spreader assembly to be unbolted, or for the entire spreader to be removed from a truck's bed before being able to tow, the Quick-Pin hitch allows this conversion to take place in a matter of seconds. This effectively makes the vehicle more useful, not having to be dedicated to one function. The Vee Pro 8000 is the largest capacity bulk spreader in the SnowEx line, carrying up to 1.5 cubic yards of material. Designed for standard pick-up boxes, the unit is primarily intended to spread salt and salt/sand mixtures .
